Gave the Spotify Discover Weekly podcast a listen yesterday and it popped up with this gem. ASG - Avalanche, I'd never heard of them before but I'm now on my 4th listen of their Blood Drive album since yesterday. Really great stuff ..

Anyone got any other good under the radar stoner rock suggestions?

Thanking you, heard of Fu Manchu but not Red Fang, listening to Prehistoric Dog right now and it's right down my street.

Again, probably not strictly under the radar, but I do enjoy a bit of 'Corrosion of Conformity'.

Man or Ash is one of my favorite songs although I've never quiet gotten into the band fully. Might give an album a listen later.

Get the last three Kyuss albums for a perfect starting point. They're all brilliant.

Earthless Meets Heavy Blanket - In a Dutch Haze is one of my favourite LPs at the moment. Was listening to it on the walk to work this morning.

Bob Balch from Fu Manchu does Skype lessons at reasonable rates.  He really knows his shit.

Pentagram, Witchcraft, Tweak Bird are a few to name off the top of my head.

There are some others which I really like that are a bit stoner but not all the way which include Torche and Baroness (early, not later)

When it comes Kyuss, who are genre favourites it's worth tracking the Unida albums.  The 'lost' second album IMO is equal or greater to the Kyuss albums.  Shame it was never released.

It's not a genre I've dug all that deeply into but Blues for the Red Sun by Kyuss and Powertrip by Monster Magnet are both amongst my favourite records.

Acrimony were the best stoner band ever to come from Britain. Or Europe for that matter.

Can we class The Sword as stoner rock?

The album (Blood Drive) is pretty good too @EqualSql although that is the stand out track. I'm going to work my way through some of the suggestions on here over the next week or so at work. Really like what I've heard of Red Fang but haven't given them a proper listen

Time permitting, I might put together a Spotify playlist to share at the weekend so any suggestions on here for specific songs or albums would be great.

Give "Seemless" a listen if you haven't already.

Prefer them to Killswitch, which is what the singer is back doing these days.
