Yes some great solos. A difficult choice but I'll go for:

    5 points @Gingerbbm
    3 points @BahHumbug
    1 point @Teetonetal

    It's not a competition.

Some great solos guys .. I ranked mine in terms of what I thought worked with the backing track so:

    5 points to @Markv
    3 points to @ChrisRG
    1 point to @BahHumbug

Remember, it's easier to criticise than create!

These are my top 3. Very difficult to choose between them! I was marking on:
    • structure
    • melodic ideas
    • unexpectedness
    • tone
    • execution
    And so:

    5 points to @ChrisRG
    3 points to @BahHumbug
    1 point to @stratman3142

But well done everyone - very enjoyable to part of this :)

Great to see so many entries this month and to have some new names joining in the fun. Lots of interesting takes on the track. After much deliberation and enjoyable listening, my votes go to:

5 points @kuryakin85 - a very different take and I really liked the dual guitars, particularly when they went into dissonance
3 points @BahHumbug - a lovely sound, chilled and sat well with the backing.
1 point @stratman3142 - nicely understated, like you said.

A difficult choice, there were at least 3 others that I might have chosen.

I shall now put my vote in the proper place :-)

I liked all those, great mix of styles and tone choices, all well played.

Winner: Gingerbbm there was bits that reminded me of Larry Carlton in there, so I had to pick you

    Runner Up: Teetonetal

    Bronzed: BahHumbug
