I can tell you they do. I have tried old Mullards in a few Kingsley pedals. They always add a little more richness to the tone and tame any rasp

I've bought them as cheap as a tenner on ebay but most people ask five times that. Bonkers. Get one from someone with a returns policy. The used ones are very rarely duds but best to be safe
