FS USA Larrivee D-40 Legacy Series (Mahogany)

Hi guys and dolls.  My friend, who is allergic to forums, but knows all about this one from my constant buying, selling and gear-day reports, has decided to shift his Larrivee on and asked me to pop it on the classifieds here.  I'll probably also put it up on ScumTree and other places too.  

It's a couple of years old, in immaculate condition and is an absolute beast.  The bugger left it at his holiday home, where I played it, fell in love and was forced to seek out a cheaper Larry (D-03) as I was smitten.  Mine is good but not in the same ballpark as this one.  

It's made in the company's 'custom shop' in California, rather than in the historic Canadian HQ and was around £1,250 new. He's looking for offers in the region of £800 and it comes with a very sturdy Larrivee hard case; it's in London but could possibly come to said holiday cottage in North Yorkshire next week if that helped.  Collection/meet is much preferred.

It's also worth saying that my mate might possibly be interested in trades for certain Martins or other quality acoustics; basically he's looking for something better suited to finger-style. The Larry is a bit narrow at the nut for him and he feels that having this much tied up in a big booming strummer is not the best idea.

Actually no - I don't think it has.  My mate is clearly not in the least bit of a hurry.  I can contact him if you have any specific questions?

Yeah I wouldn't mind some pictures, whether it has original papers, an up to date price if possible and a meeting point. North Yorkshire would be better for me (I'm in Co Durham)

Yes - this is now on hold, pending the ususal formalities.  My mate has @ditchboy's details and will take it from there.  I await my commission (normally paid in beer and curry).  

When I'm not buying and selling, I do love to help others buy and sell.

That it is.  My mate reckons it's cost him about £10 each time he's played it
