I'll probably be going to B'ham.
I'm unsure about Shinedown as support.

Last time I saw them (Matter of life and death) it was Trivium, which worked really well.

Granted i've only heard one song, sound of madness, but it kicked ass I thought!

I saw them on the Dance of Death tour in 2003, but that was a bit cheaper than the £55 they're asking now, per ticket....

I'll probably do the London date with my lad but I begrudge paying big bucks for a Book Of Souls show when all I really want is 'greatest hits'. 

If if anyone fancies a pint, I'll be in the pub when Shinedown are on.

I assume they're not using Ed Force One - if they are I may need to go to Glasgow… airport  .

Edit - no, it looks like they stopped using it in June. I suppose even a band as successful as Maiden can't just keep a 747 on hand when they're not actually on a world tour with it.

Even on their album tours, they don't play *that* many album tracks and play plenty of crowd pleasers.

There will be hits, but they'll be plenty of new release ones too.

Couldn't get O2 tickets but should be good for Birmingham....

Latest album is pretty decent. Songs are quite long but overall it is still an interesting listen, and they'll play some other stuff too
