5 points @steamabacus - smooth, soothing and warm sounding, very professional.
3 points @kin - catchy, like the twin guitars.
1 point @Veganic - good to hear something not in 4/4. Sounds a bit tinny to me though

    Good effort all round.

  • Tough vote for me this month. Wooden spoon unfortunately (I hate having to pick three from four) goes to @Veganic ; but this was a great piece that, with a fuller recorded sound, could easily have won.

    So, in reverse order

3rd  (1 point)    @Stratman3142 ; More Whine   Excellent tones as usual. Do I detect some Beck in your influences?

2nd  (3 points)  @kin ; Rabid Rabbit     Could've shaded first with beefier drums. Great melodic riffing.

1st  (5 points)   @DulcetJones ; (untitled)    Has a real 'vibe' to it. Very filmic, would be great as a horror film intro or the opening to a goth pop tune. :)

  • 5 points @steamabacus  As stated above, smooth and slick

    3 points @DulcetJones  Very atmospheric

1 point @Veganic  I think I might have put this top, if it had a bigger sound

Sorry kin. I liked it and you have a different highly creative uncompromising character to your riffs. I think I'm just in an unadventurous mood this month.

I'm a big Jeff Beck fan and he is an influence. But my whammy bar use is probably more influenced by Alan Murphy, a guitarist whose playing I was obsessed with in my younger days.

    It's not a competition.

  • 5 Points @stratman3142 Like it a lot, it appealed to me in a sort of 80's Lead Guitar Line mixed with 70's Prog backing, well played.

3 Points @DulcetJones Loved the dark edge, sounded like it would fit well into the New Wave genre too, which I like a lot.

1 Point @kin nasty, noisy and gnarly, excellent.

Shame to leave out @steamabacus with such a sterling effort, but the other just felt more "riffy" to me

@Veganic was another hark back to the New Wave sound to me, maybe a bit heavier but I liked yours too.
