NGD - Brook Taw

I've been musing about a new acoustic for a while - looking for something a bit nicer to play and smaller than my Larrivee L-01. Yesterday, as part of my research, I dropped in to Project Music in Exeter and played every Brook guitar they had in stock. I've never played a Brook before. Lee both indulged me and left me alone perfectly, answered all my questions and happily gave me other guitars to play that I was familiar with as a reference point.

Anyway, what I learned is I that I Iiked the Taw model enough to buy one on the spot and stop researching! It's got a spruce top and bubinga back and sides. If the links below work you'll see a couple of the pix from their website. Very nice to play, comfy fit and clear, focused tone. They also had a Taw with a rosewood back and side, but the bubinga one sounded much more pleasing to my ears.

Happy boy! :-)

That's because I deleted it after a few months of having it up there. The Fretboard doesn't host pictures, old chap, we do. The pic is still on the Project Music website, though - even though it's been in my house for 5 months!
