Hi guys and gals, I'm not sure if this is permitted here but I'm putting the feelers out for my new side line venture.

Im currently building some stock up in strat and tele bodies lacquered in nitro. I'll be offering relic'd and non relic'd nitro bodies for you to add your own F*nder spec necks and parts.

As I've said I'm really only floating the idea just now but the response has been positive so far. 

To see all progress of my work you can check out my page on Facebook and I can update this thread if you all wish to follow me.

Prices are in the range of £200-250 depending on what work you would like done.

I'm currently on my iPhone so feel free to let me know if the picture link below doesn't do anything.

Do you do the finishing yourself? As a vendor you should probably move this to the "made in uk" section and embed more pics (try imgur)

Hi, the bodies are made in the UK. I finish them myself.

I have sourcing them from Guitar Builder. I'm very impressed with them as a company in general. The service has been outstanding.

Hi mate. I'm aiming to offer this early next year. It's something that I'm really looking forward to doing TBH.

Looking good and the best of luck with the new venture.

As someone who loathes the dragged behind  a pickup truck beaten with a bag of bolts relic and ended up falling into an industrial belt saner. I am not alone in that view I think there would definitely be a market for aged sympathetically with a little play wear the odd natural ding a Little checking etc etc.

Look nice to me but beware around here, plenty of forum members are rude and derogatory to anything relic related.

Thank you mate. TBH im not going to do all of my bodies in a heavy relic style. In fact, the commissions im working on now are very much "less is more" when it comes to wear and tear. Im open to all ideas of what "aged" or "relic'd" is to the individual.

Its a forum I guess... lots of traffic, lots of opinions. Its all good. Im happy to listen to all suggestions. I have to admit, I dont stop in here as much as I should. Perhaps if my post count was higher id get more feedback but itll come with time

there not really though are they.   Belt sander relics and stuff with inappropriate logos get a hard time.

My own relic threads get nothing worse than "not my type of thing, but it looks to be done well".   I don't remember your last build getting a hard time for the wear?

Im easy guys. I know its not everyone's cup of tea. Rest assured im not about to slap a F3nder water slide decal on the headstock of anything I do. Again, not all my "relics" will be heavy relic stuff. Plenty of "closet find" bodies will be made

Hello everyone. I'm updating some of the details here as the business has been going very well recently. I'm about to invest quite heavily in it.

Over the next few months I will be preparing some bodies to sell on. These will include strats and Teles in various guises.

I can still take commissions, of course. Due to the imaging I use I find it easier to update my Facebook page than this thread but I will endeavour to keep on top of proceedings here too. I'm looking forward to showing you what I have lined up.

Sorry I missed your comment! Yip a gold double bound tele is achievable for sure!
