Still working through the list in my diary of interesting chords I've heard on the radio or YouTube this year, here's another 80s one - an atmospheric slowly-raked arpeggio which cascades down from an open top E string.

Amadd9: x07500 (strum slowly high-to-low)

The moodiness of this chord comes from having the open second string B note (the 9th of the chord) ringing against the C note on the third string (the minor 3rd) a semitone away.
