FS: Feline Lion Cub £1,400

The only things to note are that the pickup has been changed to an Oil City Masterwound Dynamite (T Top style) pickup. I have also been gigging with this so it does have a few marks. Certainly nothing offensive like buckle rash or chips out of the finish.

The below is the worst little dent on the bottom side. It's in between the two bright light reflections. Can try and take more photo's for anyone interested.

Agreed. The regret of selling the best guitar I've ever had frequently haunts me. If there's no real need to part ways with it and you think you'll miss it, then maybe it wouldn't be unwise to let your random idea pass.

@prudd Sorry, a 513 doesn't really appeal.

I'm not generally that sentimental but it is a fair point and I won't just let it go for the sake of it. It would have to be a trade for something that really appealed.

There are also practical reasons for a swap as it is more likely that I will be playing mostly more contemporary styles of music next year that would maybe benefit from a slightly chunkier bodied and longer scale length guitar. All small margins I know.

What is the neck profile like?

We measured it the last time I took it to Jon but I can't remember the measurements.

Its slimmer than a regular feline lion neck.

If I was comparing it to other guitars I've played, it's probably closest to a regular PRS neck. It definitely felt a bit thicker than the wide thin PRS I used to have.

It's about 21-21.5mm at the first fret and 23-23.5mm at the 12th fret
We remeasured it after they put the wrong figures down in the review - still slim but not Ibanez thin...more like an LP Classic

Just bumping this as the Lion Special that Alex Hunter is selling would suit me a little better than the Cub at the moment as I could do with a guitar with a neck pickup.
