SOLD PRICE REDUCED - ROCKABILLY IBANEZ AF 75 ARTCORE sea-foam green £235 delivered

DominicDominic Frets: 16103
edited January 2017 in Guitars £
Very Good condition Rockabilly style AF75 td Artcore complete with Original Kinsman hard case
Sea foam green - Very 1950s style Vibe - easily the best colour
Plays well - Humbuckers are better than you would expect ( Ibanez ACH 1 and 2  )
They can produce a very warm jazzy tone but plenty of twang on the Bridge
Discontinued now but quite rare in this colour anyway. A lot of fun.

That's actually an AFS75T (with the trem) and they're excellent guitars. I've had two and still own one. Great price with the case and delivery too.

Yup,surprisingly good - I had debated swapping the pups for a set of filtertrons and it would do the Gretsch thing all day long .......I thought it was ideal for gigging rather than risk a more valuable Gretsch but then the Rockabilly project got sidetracked ............Being the shallow soul that I am ;it was the colour that I like most !

Keep it and do exactly that. These things really do respond to a pickup change, especially something chimey and lower gained. Unlike you, I thought the stock ceramic pickups didn't really work with the guitar. Great rock pickups, but for me it's more of a twang machine.

Mine is sporting some hb sized P90's but it will have some 'trons in as soon as I find the funds.

Totally agree the pups are good for rock and rolled back are really soft and Jazzy not especially Gretschy by any means but its a good fun all-rounder -a compressor can make it quite chicken -pickin' sounding but obviously 'trons would be the bomb
