Paul Gilbert masterclass(es) in March

I've just seen he is going to Andertons and GuitarGuitar in March for a masterclass

Anyone have any more info?  Both of these are too far for me, wondering if there are any other UK dates?

Nothing on his website/Facebook etc...

I don't know if there any more dates but I've just bagged myself a ticket for the Andertons/Guildford one.

Would have preferred a London date if I could have found one but Paul Gilbert is worth wandering out of zone 1 for.

Phwoar, I just booked a ticket for Edinburgh. 
I chatted to him and shook his hand yonks ago at IGF. 
Hope he does his 40 min intro solo lol... 
Dare any of us get on stage with him?

@cruxiform Nah, I'd do it. I've already been forced to jam with him, so it can't be much worse than that.

I rather fancy my strap height might offend him. (We were seated before.) Apparently it precludes decent vibrato.

@thomasross20 I'm afraid not. Video recordings were not allowed. As I said the other day, I made an audio recording, but was checking my device after the first twenty minutes or so and inadvertently stopped it. The other bloke recording the group lesson never got in touch with me, so I didn't ever manage to get his file. Shame.

@cruxiform Scary. He was far too nice about my playing. He actually wrote a compliment on one of his tour posters when signing it for me.

As a summary: up to six students sat in a circle around an amp and played to PG's tapping foot in a key he selected.

We got to ask a question each, he showed us a lick each, we jammed again, repeated the same procedure and then it was all over.

I got my ticket from GG on Sunday 0002 - my mate got 0001! He's playing Edinburgh and they have got a band for him to play with - he sent them some tracks to learn - it will be a jam/clinic. Should be good - he's a great guy and a very good teacher.
