I really love this guitar; however, after unthinkingly splurging on a couple of guitars recently; the fact that I'm covered in the electric department, and also the fact that classical is taking up most of my time, this is available to go to a new home.

Spec overview: 2002, mahogany body, rosewood finger board, Sperzel tuners, P90 pickups, natural binding, nickel wraparound bridge, looks awesome and absolutely screams through a good amp. Roll the volume and tone back a touch and it sounds great for jazz. In good condition overall, just a few minor surface marks hear and there.

In terms of trades, I'm not looking for any more guitars but I would be interested in trading for a half decent digital piano. WHY?

    It sounds great, and I've many compliments claiming it's sonic brilliance, too. Whoever is wise enough to buy it will be most pleased, that's for sure.

    Just for the record; I bought this guitar and was really pleased with it, except I thought the sound wasn't quite right. I took it up to Jeff at JJ who swapped the pick-ups for a pair of Amalfitano P90s, upgraded the pots & wiring, and did a full set-up. This has really taken it to the next level. JJs are absolutely superb guitars (old & new) and Jeff is a really nice guy. Worth a look for anyone wanting to buy a quality, UK-made guitar.

    Ah, another guitar I’ve sold that’s come back to haunt me!

    I’m glad you’re happy with it @JamesDad, and I’m sure the upgrades were worth every penny; it’s certainly deserving of it. Can’t imagine how good it sounds now, though. I thought it sounded awesome as stock!...

      Always nice to see another JJ guitar.It looks fantastic.I have heard great things about those  Amalfitano pups.I am a big JJ fan and have 3 of Jeffs later guitars.
      Would be interesting to know how many JJ owners there are on here.The quality of these guitars has to be seen to believed.
