Online Jam Sessions and Software

I'm getting increasingly bored of playing on my own. Work and family life pretty much rules out any regular attendance for anything like a band or jam session so I've been looking at something based online. 

Has/does anyone use anything like this?

I got talking to a guy once who recommended a site, I checked it out but have completely forgotten the name of the software/site. Google a few but would rather hear recommendations etc from anyone here as opposed to signing up to stuff to find out its not that good.

I tried Bandhub but to be honest it was messy, most people are pretty bad, and getting the whole thing syncd up was a pain so I gave up.


Have you tried collaborations instead ?...do you have recording gear ?

Yes, audio interface into computer etc. I found the program the guy mentioned, Ohm Studio

Tried ohm studio but it just doesn't want to accept the inputs. I'll look at a few others if I can't get it working
