Maybe a Silly Question, but....?

For my Bowie Band, with the intro of Space Oddity (The Launch bit), I got a good way of doing an extreme effect with the delay by bending the low F note, then quickly whacking up the repeats full and slowly increasing the "time".

Anyway, question is, can this be detrimental to the amp or speaker even? It might sound a silly question to the more amp savvy among us, but is the constant repeating of a shrill massively modulated sound not a good thing?

Thanks.

Hmmm good question, I have no idea, but I remember a rumour when I was a lad that feedback ruined your pickups.

If the amp is well-designed and the speaker is sensibly rated then it's not an issue.

A bit late, but, thanks. I'll hope the money I paid means that amps are well designed :)
