Oxford GASFEST: anybody up for it then?

I spoke to a couple of guys about this, if anybody is up for it, please shout out.  Otherwise it's just me then!

If you are in or near Oxford and want to do this, or if you want to head over from further afield, great!

If @octatonic is interested in bringing some drums and somebody else can bring a bass or other instruments, it could be good.  What I was thinking was to see how many people are interested, and then depending on numbers, hire an appropriate size rehearsal area so we can try equipment out, have a bit of a jam, and so on.  Would have to be a weekend, so maybe April or early May?

So I'm putting this out there if anybody is interested, and if there is interest it would be great to meet people and play some music!

Yup, I'm up for it, provided I'm not away on a motorbike tour.
Happy to drum, or play bass, or even guitar.
Would prefer to drum of course.

I can't do Easter weekend, but I imagine few people could.

Sounds great, and as you say Easter everybody will be busy.

Maybe last weekend in April, or beginning of May?  That should give people enough time to make arrangements.

I can do Sunday 30th April, I can't do the Saturday 29th..
First week of May is fine both days.

Thanks.  Monday 1st May is a Bank Holiday, so perhaps best not to do it that weekend?

So how about going for either Sat 6th or Sunday 7th May?

glasshouse studios is pretty good, its in cumnor. Rooms 2 & 3 are pretty good sizes, and Sundays are usually quiet. If you let Jamie (the owner) know there's likely to be quite a few people I'm sure he'd be happy to put you up in the bigger spaces.

Thanks, sounds good.  It would be good to have an idea of numbers first off, but if in doubt it would be good to book a bigger room.  Let's see who else is up for this, and when is good - hopefully 6th or 7th of May.
