just got the pics through from John, something little different . He's also done a 3 ply mint green  guard cut for SSS if I have a change of heart . Pickups courtesy of @TheGuitarWeasel Scrapyard plus in the bridge and a set of StoneTones.

Did he make you find the plate or is he doing them now?

I think he makes the most authentic and best sounding Strats.
Although I'm not sure that applies to a humbucker one.
Never mind, I'm sure it will be excellent.

He did it all. Didn't think would do this as know he turns down stuff not that keen on. Wth the sss routed mint plate got two guitars in one

This is the guitar that had me counting pennies  in my head and convinced me I was okay with the whole relic thing-  when this was made he was refusing HSS, but was convinced to do this as the guard is original

He's obviously mellowed a bit since then:) think he happy wth how the daphne finish has come out said was going to build a 50s one ply with maple neck

Mine is also the best strat I have played. And you don't have to be precious about them. The neck finishes feel great.
