Following on from last week's C9sus4 8x8768 with the root note voiced at the top of an extended chord, tomorrow at church I'll be playing a new arrangement of the song 'Two Sins' which is in Eb, where I'm maintaining a Bb pedal note on the top string xxxxx6. At one point in the progression there is a Bb7 followed by a Gm7, I've found this chord works well for the Bb7 -Bb7: 6x6336
It has a very strong voice-leading pull from the Ab 7th degree of the Bb7 chord on the 4th string xx6xxx down to the G 3rd degree of a subsequent Eb I chord, or in this case the root note of the Gm7 chord which comes next. I'll do that Gm7 chord next week.
