I thought I would post this as a series of videos to bridge the gap between the 50 part music theory course I posted some time ago and the basics one from Rick Beato. Again Rick Beato really knows his stuff, so this should give another perspective whilst learning, which is always a good thing IMO, or maybe an excuse to review and refresh old knowledge.

I do hope this is helpful to some of you guys and galls out there

Scale Degree Names in a Major Key:

I - Tonic

ii - Supertonic

iii - Mediant

IV - Sub Dominant

V - Dominant

vi - Sub Mediant

vii - Leading Tone
