I bought a Squier Bullet Mustang neck from
@dallcorp and have gradually collected parts for the build....
I quite like these cheapo Squier necks but the headstock logo is a ghastly screen printed thing, so I sanded it off, sprayed the headstock the intended body colour, applied a classier logo, lacquered over

When it all arrived a mockup took place, getting everything in line on the body, everything is held with one screw......

Body is up to usual Guitarbuild standards ie very nice indeed, I really should have stained such a nice lump o wood, but had set my heart on an Orange paint finish.....

Rattle Can Cellulose from the nearest Auto paint supplier, far superior to off the shelf stuff, more paint to thinners ratio........used just over one can.....I reckon if I hadn't painted the headstock I'd have got away with one can...no lacquer on the body two coats of lacquer to seal the headstock decal...
