On the topic of animals tonight, I thought I’d introduce the newest member of the familia.
He’s my mum and stepdads, an 8 month old... something...
He’s supposedly a Cockapoo...
He seems more spaniel, but I’m not up on my dog breeds tbh. Anyway he’s happy and healthy so it doesnt matter!
They took him in at a few months old, and although absolutely tiny, he was bold as brass!
Not a fear in the world, and still hasnt!
Absolutely hyper and full of love, with a current obsession of humping his bed.. I guess he’s reached the teenage period!
Anyway, say hi to Diesel.
Being the huge hulking masculine mass of muscle that he obviously is, can you guess who my mum named him after lol?!
Went in for a haircut and came out with a bandana. Gang culture eh?
He’s been down with mum at the Basildon dogs trust each week, completing his more advanced training. A jedi master soon he shall be.
Although we havent quite mastered all the commands, hes doing great!
The only easy day, was yesterday...

I can't help about the shape I'm in, I can't sing I ain't pretty and my legs are thin
But don't ask me what I think of you, I might not give the answer that you want me to
Unlike our lazy arse Beagle who whilst loving is a pile of laziness
They do indeed grow bloody fast!
I visit once a week and every time I was surprised at just how much bigger he was.
My daughters would be beside themselves with joy having a dog like that
The Spaniel in cockerpoo's can make them exceptional dogs if trained and stimulated properly, but unfortunately sometimes people get them, don't socialise them, don't stimulate them, then wonder why they have so many issues with separation and destructiveness
Ours is apricot (not sure why it's that name) but facially looks very similar.
Great dogs however ours has a serious guarding issue that we are trying to work through.....
