I recently played a 2006 R7 and was knocked out by it - it sounded really 'woody'. I'd have definitely bought it if I had the spare cash.

Update I have just recieved my 65 SG back from the genius that is Jon Haire who has kindly made me a scratchplate, fettled and serviced her and here she is even better than before.....

And so 1 1/2 months later.....

I now have a Gretsch Power jet and the 65 has a new scratchplate.
