Up for sale is my Stonebridge/Furch OM35SR with the deep body option. This is the highest spec model of Furch's Vintage series (http://www.furch.cz/en/vintage-guitars/detail/35-sr/
), which I've owned from new. The standard versions, without the deep body option, currently retail at around £2000. This one was built in 2014 (SN 49 650) and has solid sitka spruce top and solid Indian Rosewood back and sides. Nut width is 43 mm. It has a professionally installed (by Colin Keefe) K&K Trinity Pro pickup (mini condenser and bridge-plate transducer -- http://kksound.com/products/trinitypro.php
) and the Trinity Pro outboard preamp is included (this system retails at around £300). Comes with Hiscox hardshell case.
Price £1250, local pick-up preferred. However, I will post at buyer's expense and risk. I don't want the hassle of CITES so I can't ship it outside the EU.
The guitar is in very good/excellent condition, some dings/scratches here and there and a bit of minor fret wear, but nothing that affects the overall appearance, tone and playability. Action is 0.25 at the 1st fret and tad over 2mm at the 12th with plenty of height left in the saddle.
There are plenty of examples of the guitar online:https://www.guitarinteractivemagazine.com/issues/issue-23/reviews/furch-om35/
The deep body option gives this guitar a bit more bottom-end and sustain than the standard modle and is good for strumming as well as fingerpicking
I'm based in the Nottingham area and you're welcome to arrange a try out. A couple of images of the guitar are below. I have more that I can e-mail. Any questions please ask.
