Hi Guys just found this place, it's great to see all the MR regulars have made it over here. Thanks to all who worked to get this up and running it looks a lot better than the MR forum.

Anybody seen Frankus yet?

Not yet... was he on the temporary forum? I don't remember seeing him there. This new forum is the dogs gonads - can't see us heading back to MR at all now, shame if all those threads are lost though.

I'd just like to say that this forum is amazing. Well done to everyone who got this up and running. Your fame has spread far and wide. .. I'm here and I haven't been on MR for ages.

There's always a downside to being famous ...

You know something ... it's great to have people say how much they like this new place (I can't deny that, my ego is happy, and I only did a little towards building this place).  But it's even greater to see how much it's already getting used, and how much of a "community" it already feels. 

It greater yet to see people who've been absent from MR for a while coming back to the community. 

That's what real makes it worthwhile for me.

Out of curiosity what was it that stopped you from going to MR? I'll try to avoid doing anything that could lead to such tragedy again.

Ha ha.  I just don't have as much time as I did and MR had stopped feeling so much like a community to me, as I'd been absent.  Plus, it was pretty hard to use on a phone, my main device for sneaky internet interaction, whereas this forum is ace on it. It wasn't anything anyone said
