Had a day off yesterday and waited anxiously at home.
The courier arrived early in the morning, knocked on my door and handed me this. I was like great!!  :D

Not bad that EHX included a PSU. Quite a bang for the buck for nicely priced pedal.

Then came the second knock and it's like Christmas all over again. :O
I carefully opened it up, plugged all the cables. Whipped out my LP and the first roar is just unmistakable. So far I'm impressed with what I hear. Just raw marshall goodness and surprisingly tweakable. It has fair bit of gain on it too. Very very pleased so far.

The box is labelled and numbered

A nice touch that CS included some protection. This is probably the first time I've seen a marshall amp wrapped up in the box.

The plaque is so cool!

Not much on the back except for the low powered button.

The finishing looks pretty good. I quite like the material which is a nice change from the usual textured tolex I'm used to seeing. Glad they didn't stick the CS badge at the front, that would really spoil the look.

  • That Jim Root Terror is one of the best gain sounds I've ever heard for sheer metal.
