SOLD - Gibson Les Paul Halcyon - ltd edition goldburst - £1150

Not had this long but just purchased a PRS McCarty from another forum member, so unfortunately has to go!

This is a 2015 model and comes with the original hard case and certificate of authenticity. It's in very good condition overall however there is a mark on the back of the body where the finish reacted with a guitar stand. 

It has a goldburst finish, coil splittable Lace Sensor pickups and Grover tuners (all stock). This is the Bill Kelliher signature model, but despite that I don't find it to be particularly more aggressive sounding than than your normal Gibson Les Paul standard.

Looking for £1200 £1150 Open to trades but cash sale preferred. I'm based in South London and I will be up in Harrogate for the bank holiday at the end of the month.

Holy shit, this is my #1 guitar, I just taped (and binned) a review about the guitar suggesting people try to find it. What a stonking instrument - all the appointments of the pre-cuts Standards (like binding nibs), coil tap, excellent pickups, etc.

I cannot reinforce enough quite how much of a fantastic instrument the halcyons are!

They do appear to have taken what made an old LP standard great and given it some nice upgrades!

I should mention that I'm up in Harrogate for the long bank holiday at the end of August so could meet up there as well.

I flit between Newcastle and Huddersfield...so pretty much bang on the area! 

Fortunately for me I'm working the bank holiday weekend over in the lakes, so I'll be at a safe distance. 

My dad also lives in Woldingham, so probably not a million miles from you. 

In all seriousness, I'm not going to be in the market for this during the holidays, but I'm 90% sure I'm starting a new and very lucrative contract in September. If that comes off, I'll definitely be selling off the Epi LP and looking for something as boner inducing as this!

Do keep me posted! There's a part of me that really wants the ducks to all line up perfectly so I can nab this off you. If you sell it on the mean time then it just wasn't meant to be! 

Still nursing a semi every time I see this though!
