The Craziest NGD

What's Hot
I've done some daft things. Ok, not illegal, not usually harmful to others. But for a usually responsible guy there's always a bit of crazy that bursts out now and then.

Like last night. Just before 6pm, I settled my dogs down at home in God's own backyard (aka Yorkshire) so they'd be settled for my partner getting in not too long after. I hopped in my car to Somerset and made it back home at 4:30am this morning. It's a 3 1/2 hour drive each way if you don't stop (I made multiple stops for caffeine, bits of food...plus add in some time talking guitars and playing) so I'm shattered right now...but there's a new guitar in the house...3 pictures to see if you can identify it:

And serious disclaimer...making it back in one piece on that drive does not make it responsible, clever and 100% not recommended

Although I'm not so sure about the long yellow bit. I like it when the long bit is brown too. Sort of matching.

It's doing a good impression of a rather old fangled Stratocaster I hope!

It looks like a lovely guitar... despite the lack of rosewood. ;)

Or be willing to spend on a bed for the night and make the trip a bit easier. Was a private sale so in person makes things smoother. In my defence, I'd not have travelled for something likely to crop up often. It's probably the closest to a bucket list guitar for me. Was not a cheap week. Anyone got any good recipes for beans on toast?

Trips like this for work are pretty common.

(I am just disappointed that the guitar is not at all crazy. NGC-D not C-N-GD.)

Is the model where the batch made was 1,954 guitars ? If it is, sweet, don't come up often. Wonder who has no 1 of 1954
