Very nice work Scott. 

I'm liking the look of being able to see the pores in the grain of the Ash.  If it was me, I'd have the body as it is with no more finish applied!

Thanks man. Yes this is as far as we’re taking the clear coat. It’s very thin skin and it simply needs wet sanded, buffed and lightly checked. It turned out so well, I’m very very happy with it.

A 1963 fender telecaster body. This beauty came in looking tired and feeling as though it had been painted with pebble dash (obviously it had been refinished at some point in its life). 

So, once stripped I was in aw of how stunning the 2 piece ash looked!

The customer requested sonic blue so once some grain filling was complete it was onto sealing, primer, colour and clear coat. 

I think it turned out rather nicely
