Man food

AS I had chicken and pasta for lunch I didn't want a big meal when I got home, so a grilled pitta with cheese and ham was tea.

 

Any other suggestions for easy to cook man food.

 

I'm guessing Decker will suggest pot noodle.

Sadly, I can't eat most veggies (I hate having Crohn's.......)

And I can't have heavy meals.

 

Besides I said easy to cook.........

I just got in from footy and had beans on Brown toast. I added some hot chilli and garlic sauce to the beans. It was easy and rather tasty.

I have the same opinion of a sausage sarnie, quorn in my case due to the vegetarianism.

Pasta and good pesto - takes 11 minutes and goes well with a glass of red (to purge the beer, you understand).  Chorizo with it if you feel the need for meatiness - makes the house smell like a Spanish tart, which is always comforting.

I had some Toast under Cheese earlier on, it beats Cheese on Toast any day!

for tea tonight I did make: Cajun chicken, wrapped in bacon, with egg fried rice. Bloody lush.

Not all at once! Usually two at once.

I tend to go ham/cheese and peanut butter/Nutella because I'm a fat git.

It doesn't sound like it will be, but it is extremely awesome and one of the easiest sustaining stewy things you can make even if you are camping etc. 

I managed to convince my wife to eat it and she doesn't normally eat corned beef.

I can concur, from camping trips as a kid, that the aforementioned corn beef hash is teh tasty, especially with HP brown sauce on the side. Doubly so if your tent was the only one that survived the wind overnight! B-)
