    My little lot:

The current set-up - except the board now has a reverb on it, and the Music Man is now in the care of my dad, who gets more use from it than I do.

Nice selection. I like the Jackson, and Ibanez. A lot. :-)

Viz - you got knobbled by the spam filter too (it's adaptive so this should happen less and less). I've released your posts and deleted the duplicates. :)
It happened twice on the full site (on my phone) so I switched to the mobile view and it went through fine. Ta.

That might be a coinkydink - when I released them I also verified your account so the spam daemon should ignore you from now on.

Unfortunately, I don't really have enough of those popular name branded guitars to make it into a family shot.

Are you trying to get me into trouble or something?  Back in schooldays, we had a name for people like you.  And it wasn't "Horse".

    ;)

    The Moonsault ..image

And another of the F-series thru necks that didn't make the family shot ...

    This is a "Kawai Performer"

    image

And this is a Kawai Rock 'n' Roll Star.  Got a couple of these, but no decent pics of the other one (and - no surprise here - they're not all in the house, so I can't take one!).

    image

In my defence, I have now stopped buying Kawai guitars.

Tony, that Kawai F-series with the fewest controls (F-V?) is STUNNING.

    All of my want.

In fact, I seem to want most of your guitars :D

The simple one is actually an F-I Jr.  Which is odd, because the other one in that pic is the F-I, which was the most complex (from a wiring / on-board fx perspective) in the range.  The other one I posted is an F-III.

You show great taste for one so young ... there is hope for you after all

    ;)

    Cheers C.

Feel somewhat humbled by my meagre collection now :(

Anyway - Vintage V880 electro-acoustic parlour, bitsa 'Esquire', Gordon Smith GS1, Vintage V96 5-string. There's a Tanglewood electro-acoustic, a Tanglewood semi-acoustic bass and a Gibson Grabber copy that are hidden away too ('cos they're autographed, by Ricky Warwick, Duff McKagan and Mani respectively, so they only get home/studio use).

    Why thank you! :D

I do love old Japanese stuff, from the 70s and 80s - stuff like those Kawais, old Ibanezes and so on. A favourite of mine is the Westone Thunder III (the posh neck-thru Thunder with 24 frets).

I do still like Jacksons and so on obviously :D
