    Put me down as a possible for Sasquatch in Feb. That's a definite maybe.

    However am waiting to see if there's a Southern Jam. And whether I (or others) can muster a West Midlands Jam. Depends how many we are allowed to attend - because I thought I read earlier in this or another thread that there's a limit as to how many one can attend.

    TBH, we'd hope that each jam allowed a few virgins to attend, and if we get the same faces at all of them, then that's a good thing in terms of showing how enjoyable they are, but a bad thing in that there'll be no room for the virgins!

    Hopefully, by spreading them out geographically, we'll naturally get a good mix of people at the different sessions and allow some new faces to attend each one.

    There will *definitely* be another Southern Jam.  Hopefully a few more Southern jams in different parts of the Southern!

    @fandango - you can attend as many as you like, the restriction was on the session playing bits (limited to 20) and I’d prioritise people who hadn’t done the same jam earlier in the year

    Added @m_c and @fandango - once the dates are confirmed I will add them up.

    @Legionreturns - any news from Bob?

    I understand the desire to encourage people who’ve never played in a band/live before - but even though I’ve been playing for 46 years - l hadn’t played in a band setting, at stage volumes, prior last January in Huddersfield got over 20 years. Nervous through I was - I was enormously grateful to get the chance again.

    When I listened back to what I played - I was pleasantly surprised - which has been good for my personal ‘feel good factor’ more than I would have thought.

    So spare a thought for those of us in late middle age as well....

  • Wow, talk about advance planning! Not got the foggiest what I'll be doing work shifts wise that weekend, but I'll put my name down for it and will do what I can to make it happen.  =)

    Many of "us" are there ourselves @richardhomer ;

    Which JJ Cale track do you fancy playing at the next one?  'cos I'll play & sing it too.

    I’ve suggested FM’s ‘Need Your Love So Bad’ in the ‘songs’ thread - but would love to do ‘The Sensitive Kind’ or ‘Cajun Moon’ as well. Even if not recorded - stuff like that is ‘really’ my thing.
