BUSKING Street Cube EX & Radio headset mics

Wonder if anybody has advice ideas on street music, - I sometimes think I'm getting a tad old for this, but I live in sunny South of France & I just love playing outside!! I'm thinking of buying a Roland Cube Street EX, to replace my smaller battery amps, and quite like the idea of a radio mic. I've just bought a cheapo headset radio mic  on Amazon for 26€ which is very 'pod' like, similar to my Xvive guitar radios. So its a great idea, it does sound a bit boxy/telephone, but with a bit of EQ & placement care, it's not too bad and saves humping cables, stands & mics around & setup etc. Maybe a better quality headset mic would improve sound, dunno - I'd like to hear anybody else's experiences in the same game ( & if anybody is selling any battery amp 30w or more I'm interested also - before I splash out on a new EX !)
