If ever there was a reason to build a vintage style carved top guitar this is it, one piece maple is just stunning to look at

They say a picture paints a 1000 words - That is a full 'war n peace' novel - The colour and the top - A total credit to your art

Here's some subtle checking, it'll continue to get better as time goes on, i did 3 hrs tonight making a racket in a room with friends tonight and no back ache, it's perfect for my taste at just under 9lb

Been working on this one a while and it's for me at last, it's looking suitably patchy and shit enough to accept a very aged finish, just gotta wait for the checking now
It's having a vintage bigsby, original dogbone bridge, 1956 p90's and bumblebee caps

Now paint over the top black (a few spots missing here and there), and replace the bridge pickup with a Firebird and it will be perfect!

Looking great though, I hope this GT will be as good as Mojo Marcs (maybe even better!).  I'm sure it will be.

I'd say so shubs, i mean look at that original bigsby and dogbone bridge, never mind the 56 p90's, checking came out great and I'll put it together next week

The dogbone bridges are beautiful.  What are they like for intonation?

Be intrigued to find out how it sounds.  I know to many P90's in a GT they like them for crunchy sounds but I reckon this GT will be superb for cleans.

An aged guitar needs an aged fretboard imo or it looks wrong, here's one on my goldtop now

Just finished a heavy aged tv junior, i don't normally do this much ageing but i like how it turned out, it'll be off this week or early next, i think it'll be keeping one of Neil's juniors company

It's finished and really pleased with the ageing, came out really nice and will only get better, the vintage pickups need dialing in and a bit of work on the dogbone is needed other than that it's lovely, I'm keeping it anyway, 9.2lb
