A set neck telepaul in the making, this is because I like some fender attributes and I'm not a fender fanatic, I'm also a short scale player, hopefully this should appeal to the non fender people
It's an alder body with a nice quatersawn flame maple neck, mojo pickups as usual, I'd really like to hear that staple p90

Telepaul neck build using handmade traditional truss rod, I'm thinking of using a zirocote fretboard which has a great ring to it

Strung up and sounds lovely unplugged, really low action even without a fret dress

Junior refinish with proper thin nitro, burst came out lovely, ageing will follow

Finally effing done, it's a beast with tone and playability to match, the aged finish came out great, it'll be off to a new home soon, taken long enough, definitely meets the vintage vibe for a customer

Thanks to both of you, glad you like it, long way to go and back in the sun this week, good ageing takes time to do well and something I'm trying to show off 

I've got my own vintage series of guitars planned with a rounded over open book headstock and my logo, my headstock will be the modern series where anything goes, like the telepaul idea

Just pickguard and truss rod cover to make but otherwise I absolutely love it so will make it a modern standard model of mine
