Indeed. Just need to decide whether to stay overnight or do the central-Scotland-Birmingham-and-back in a day. And also whether to bring the small or large credit card ;)

Bring both. You might need both. Defo.
We choose to go to the Moon! We choose to go to the Moon...We choose to go to the Moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard; because that goal will serve to organise and measure the best of our energies and skills, because that challenge is one that we are willing to accept, one we are unwilling to postpone, and one we intend to win, and the others, too." I love this show. The Curry is also a great highlight and hope it will be the usual people. We drive up, and are never disaapointed. There is always something to see. Really looking forward to this show. I went to the show in London Olympia , what a waste of time money and effort that was.I look forward to the Birmingham show and the Kempton Park show which is also great.

    Thank you :)

What's the parking situation Jason? Is it free or paid and is there plenty of it?

Hi, the parking is free, front and back of the venue, but it is limited, the good news is that all of the streets around the venue are also free, if you come late, you may have a 10 minute walk, I know its not perfect, but the NEC is now £16 a day and Olympia is £35 a day

So from what I'm reading, it sounds like £35 saved on parking can be spent on guitar goodies and still have broke even?

Just for clarity - I'm off to LA tomorrow, so as a one man band, answering any messages may take a day or two or three, I'll need to be on wifi, not in a convention centre and not swanning around California trying to pretend I'm working, when I'm there for a week but only at NAMM for 3 days :).

On a more serious note, if anyone is particularly interested in knowing about some new product, message me and I'll try and have a look at it for you (did this last year for a few people).

Will be there on the Sunday as I have Six Nations work commitments on the Saturday.

Donald Trump has spoken movingly about 7-Eleven. It reminded him, he said, of the way Americans came together in 1941 after Pearl Necklace.

Sunday for me too, with @fastonebaz . Can we have Fretboard badges again, rather than caps? It was great to know who's who!

A quick question - is the ticket price per day? Or does a single ticket cover entrance for both days?

    Cheers,
    Adam

Hi Adam, it is per day. If you come on Saturday you can get a “come back tomorrow for a fiver” voucher.

Thank you all for coming, I'm really looking forward to it, its the biggest show yet, every square inch is filled with gear and I have a new (Focusrite) stage with demos and interviews. Advance tickets are up 14% YOY, so I'm hoping its a busy one.

I walked around NAMM with companies telling me their plans for the 2020 show, so I guess I'm here for at least another 12 months :)

Do say hello if you see me, hopefully we will have tFB badges.

Im looking forward to it - should have my new Ryder with me to try out some amps :)
And if I leave the show without a new strap or pickup, I'll be grumpy all the way back to Scotland!
    Cheers,
    Adam

Did it look good? I haven't seen it yet. I figured you never go past it at anymore than 20mph, so its a good spot

It was quite startling seeing it there - a 40 foot Les Paul is not what they usually have on. It looks like the giant RAC man from next door could pick it up and play Pretty Vacant

There's a little bit of Spectrum 48k colour blocking on the display but all the ads have that. Looks good.

Oh man! that neck joint is beautiful.
The first time I ever saw a set neck like that on an LP style guitar was on the Aria Pro II PE-1000GC back in the 80's.
That's how Gibson should have done their Axcess neck joint.

Possibly off-topic, but can anyone recommend a good breakfast place near the Bingley Hall for Sunday?
