Ive been really working on my alt picking recently so Id like to give some solos a run through. Any reasonably easy ones suitable? Any style but rock/blues/metal would be good.

Rescue me or bury me, towards the end of the solo has got some great alt picking scales
Roland said: Scales are primarily a tool for categorising knowledge, not a rule for what can or cannot be played.
Supportact said: [my style is] probably more an accumulation of limitations and bad habits than a 'style'.

  • I like to alt. pick the solo to the Final Countdown on the 2 high strings. Easy to learn the pattern and feels weird...in a good way.

  • Someone of Randy Rhoads solos had relatively easy alternate picked sections.  I Don't Know has some cracking alt picking.

Sounds good at any speed, with or without gain. 100% alternate picking.

  • anything by Al di Meola ... but they're probably not "easy"
"Working" software has only unobserved bugs. (Parroty Error: Pieces of Nine! Pieces of Nine!)
Seriously: If you value it, take/fetch it yourself
