@darthed1981 would you be up for another run at Mardy Bum (with the final chorus =D )? I enjoyed that one, but a bit surprised how off time the solo was so fancy another crack.
Oh yes I'd like another crack at that one.
I need to dig out the sasquatch long list and we can add a "gig favourites" section to it.
The gig list will be totally separate this time. The beauty of having you doing the main setlist is I can concentrate on sorting the gig.
Sounds good to me
We should all probably bear in mind more when posting on here (and I
don't exclude myself from this) that the guitar world is very small, the
Fretboard is quite well known, and it is not uncommon at all for the
subjects of our posts to read them...
How about setting up another room as a simpler jam session. Pick songs that are very very easy (Simple Man, All Along The Watchtower, Mustang Sally et al) , possibly without a drummer I'd be happy to bring my Trio+ to provide a reliable bass and drum track.
Needed a better monitor. I could hardly hear myself, and keys can be a bugger to mix.
Monitor (Or even backline only keys) are sorted as I picked up a yamaha dsr112 in kenny's black weekend deals. Cost less than I could get a (still no slouch but lower tier) dxr, or qsc k12 or rcf 712. Well chuffed.
Next time I'll bring my R16 and put it in front of the PA. It'll mean we have 8 track recording and I can stick drum mics into a mini mixer so they only take one channel. Does mean either DI or mic on all the amps, but that's worth doing for the better recordings.
definitely worth doing. Ive run FOH for a few bands in the past with a decent (for its time) PA I used to have, and recording on separate tracks (via a Boss BR1600CD I had at the time too) made for a much easier mix down.
I used a Yam 16 track desk, and took FX sends to each input on the Boss (with drums mixed down to a bus for single track).

That would be good, but don’t underestimate the time needed afterwards for mixing. I spent 5 hours just downloading, extracting the 30 songs, naming, normalising, adding to soundcloud - and that was just for a stereo wav mix. The levels varied a lot between songs due to singers and instrument volume changes, so would need mixing per track.

That's all 30 songs we played in the 5 hours session folks. Hope you can learn from them!

Yep - @paulmapp8306 added a lot to the tracks he played on! Though his broad audio spectrum and volume threw my recording levels to pot

My Trading Feedback | You Bring The Band
Just because you're paranoid, don't mean they're not after youI used a Yam 16 track desk, and took FX sends to each input on the Boss (with drums mixed down to a bus for single track).
Hi Mark, is there a chance you can make all of the songs public so we can download them ? Love to hear them on the way to work
Ebay mark7777_1
Will have a look.
DOES ANYONE NOT WANT THEIR TRACK MAKING PUBLIC? I’m not tagging them so no-one will know what you played on unless you tell them.
