I hope your retirement from playing is but a temporary blip....
Sadly I have severe tinnitus which makes it very risky for me to make much noise at all. So I'm whittling down a lovely collection and keeping a small OO guitar which isn't loud.
I'm doing the same with my electric gear.
I can't even begin to think about how I'd deal with that.
