The more I come back here to watch that clip the more I want one! Wraptail, single P90, chunky neck, what's not to love about it? (Apart from the silly plaque) Now, does anyone want to buy an unused ESP LTD EC401VB? I've got some saving to do!

Edit: Got an email from Andertons linking me to their site where they have 15 pages of new NAMM releases but there is no Old Glory, I would really like to know what price these are going to sell for as I really am very interested. Does anyone have any links to sites where they have them ready for pre-order?
Tomorrow will be a good day.

  • These will be $699 so make of that what you will once they get over here. They are limited edition so not sure how many there will be or how many will reach the U.K

I will be bagging one for sure

JJN mentioned on instagram a couple of weeks bag that a release date was imminent but has since gone quiet

I hadn't heard of Jared James Nichols before this thread.
    Ive googled and YouTube'd him.
I'm still not really any the wiser?
He doesn't appear to massively well known? Strange that he's got an Epi sig guitar.

How many big guitarists are there these days to launch signature models for? You don't need to be massive anymore, because no guitarists are any more.

  • He played Rambling Man a year or two ago and was great. Superb energy on stage and great set

I suspect he's making a bigger splash stateside. Massive Instagram following, has gigged and supported pretty much everyone on the blues rock scene from what I can tell, and he's definitely got his own style, at least in the current generation of up and coming guitar players.

  • I've come across his videos in my feed on Instagram, but wouldn't have been aware of who he was, or heard any of his music. I watched some and he can play, and yeah, I suppose he could be popular on the west coast of America alone, and that's already a massive audience.

  • Wow, never been a fan of single pickup guitars, they always looked a bit, off? But this is damn good looking

  • JJN was due to be the guy who took over the Fretted Americana vids from Phil X, but he only filmed about three then got signed up to Gibson which seemingly came with quite a restrictive contract regarding what he could and couldn't play, what media etc. Shame really, as he's got a unique style and I'd have enjoyed watching him on those vids!

Apparently epiphone have cancelled the deal.

Something to do with teenage debauchery, comments on minority groups and lots of Columbian marching powder.

When did they start calling the Epi headstock a "Clipped Dovewing" shape?

Is that new, or have I just not noticed before?

Are they referring to the white thing on the back of it?
