Pickard acoustics - anyone have any experience of them?

Just happened to chance on this guy and was quite interested in the mandolin/mandola range. Anyone tried them or heard anything?

Have a cittern from '89. Lovely tone and has good volume when needed. Well made, looks great, although laquer now crazed but not fussed about that.
