I'm selling a couple of guitars to fund a custom shop Tele.
First up my Gretsch Tennessee Rose 6119.
It was made in Feb 1992 at the revered Terada factory and I've had it since 2010.
This model would usually have a Bigsby, but the previous owner who was a professional musician fitted a tailpiece to provide better tuning stability. It can be easily swapped for a B6C if you prefer which are available from Thomann.
The guitar is in good condition for an instrument that's nearly 30 years old. There is a small scratch near the pickup selector, a crack in a pickup ring and a little bit of glue residue where the bridge has been secured. Other than that it's minty with no rash.
The guitar has Filtertrons and I also have a set of boxed Oil City Masterwound Cowtrons (£200 new) which I can include for £100 (update cowtrons sold)
It's a superb guitar with amazing cleans as you would expect, but also able to get quite filthy. The neck is slim and very easy to play with a Strat scale like a White Falcon.
The original case is included though it's a bit ratty.
Guitar is located in Bury St Edmunds. Happy to drive to meet up, but I would rather not post
I've now dropped this to the lowest price I will accept
Priced at £1,300 £1,150 £1000
