    I was lucky enough to meet Niki a number of times at work. What you saw on the cameras, he was the same in person. Extremely funny. Even after we win the last championship double. Which is 5 in a row! He said although he was proud of us, this wasn’t enough we had to keep pushing and beat those Arseholes!! This for me just sums him up. RIP Niki.

    Remember that even after the awful burns he really fought James Hunt all the way for that 1976 season, and it went down to a torrential rain affected Japanese final GP - that most of the field opted not to drive in (incl Niki) - but JH went out and won the GP & his only Title.
    Imagine something sharp and witty here ......

    You can't be that familiar with Lauda if you don't know who 'The Rat' was....  RIP Lauda
