    I thought it was fun that she said instead of changing strings on her Precision, she traded her basses in for a new one to get new strings

    As a “first call” session musician, Carol Kaye could afford to do that.

    I wonder whether, once the ash trays in her car were full, she would replace just the ash trays or the entire car?
