Casio's CTK 240, offers a standard 49 key set up, with a range of features ideal for any promising musician. The full-sized keyboard can be used to full effect. Play melodies on the right hand and accompanying chords on the left. The CTK 240 comes equipped with 100 rhythms and 100 voices. So you can play along to any of the 50 in-built songs.
The CTK 240 is both portable and lightweight. Easy to move and transport between locations. With a dual speaker system installed on both sides of the keyboard, you can play and enjoy playing your keyboard anywhere at any time, with 6 AA batteries or the optional power supply (not included). Headphones can also be connected for silent practice.
With 50 built-in songs, you can learn and play in your time. With a range of easy-to-learn songs, such as London Bridge, Silent Night, Jingle Bells and Auld Lang Syne. You can listen, learn and play any time of day. Each song carefully built-in with extra instrument tracks that play along with the main tune, so that you feel that you are playing in a larger ensemble.
The CTK 240 is equipped with a range of 100 built-in voices that cover a wide range of instruments from grand pianos to saxophones, guitars and trumpets to name but a few. Some of which you can split the voices, so the top half of the keyboard plays a different voice to the bottom - perfect for creating an amazing sense of ensemble playing.
With a range of 100 rhythms, you can explore a combination of bass, drums and other accompanying instruments that change notes when you change chords. The backing tracks volume can be changed independently from the melody volume, with the inclusion of the Fill-In button that provides extra variations.
The addition of the LCD display allows you to view all relevant information regarding your sound and performance - the tempo, tone, chords and the song selection. The beat indicator is useful to help you keep in time with the music as you play. While the fingered chord symbols make it easier to play different chords. What’s more. The Transpose function allows you to play a song in whichever key is needed to accompany other players/singers. The user –friendly design makes learning the keyboard as easy as ABC
