i can never tell from YouTube videos so thought I’d ask actually user experiences etc. Can it get quite crunchy? I’m planning to use it as a crunchy setting that can clean up via guitar knobs but will be going into a warthog for the solos etc  :)

Yes. It’s the best and most versatile overdrive I’ve ever had.

I think I might have to get one. Only the V2 though to match my warthog :)

It’s got plenty crunch available! Great, great pedal - but I would highly recommend stacking the Warthog into the PK, as opposed to PK > Warthog. They stack amazingly well that way

Oooh really I never thought of doing it that way so I’ll give a go when I get one.

You don’t have to tell me that of all people as I always have supported uk builders actually. I just would like a break this time as I’ve spent so much recently

Adrian put a new switch in my V1 Peacekeeper (No28) for free. I bought it used!

I'll only ever buy new pedals from him in future.

I’ll probably will buy new in the end but just put it out there that I’m looking as I really would like a break in my expenses lately. If anyone knew my rig they’d see that I support Uk builders at first choice. Please don’t make this into one of those threads :(

It wasn't a WTB. I was just speaking out loud really. I haven't got the money for either method at the moment so I won't post that in the classifieds either. What's this place getting like. Feels like a witch hunt on certain matters

Yeah shut this thread down please modmins ...

It’s an interesting discussion about an overdrive pedal, and the way it could be used. I see no reason the close the thread.

The Peacekeeper is easily as good as people have said above. I have found that the highly regarded overdrives like the Lightspeed, Klon(e), KOT, Timmy etc are spectacular at one specific job and if that is the job you need it for then great but you might need a couple of them for specific jobs or rigs.

The Peacekeeper however would be the only light to medium drive pedal you would need as it’s so versatile you can dial it in for any job or any rig.

definitely agree with going warthog into Peacekeeper though as said above. Same with the Gunshot, Gunshot first into Peacekeeper.

Ditto. The lines of gear purchasing are blurred for me. I get to buy guitar gear... but none of it is for me :(
