Pot value for HSS with minihum

Looking at putting a mini hum in the bridge with some strat single coils, the idea being a brighter humbuggy should be fine with a 250k pot and single coil cap value for tone
Am I being daft in thinking this? It'll be a very normal wiring (neck, neck+mid, mid, mid+bridge, bridge). Not going for mental high output, probably oil City calibre 53s and an oil City mini hum. @OilCityPickups may know better...
