Building a HH Tele with a Bigsby - what bridge should I get?

I know Callaham make a Tele bridge but that is way out of my budget, so what are the options?
I could get an axecaster half Tele bridge and cut through the top of the factory top loader holes? Would I need slotted saddles for this method?
Or there is the ToM bridge - Gibson style. Would I need to route the body to drop the bridge down slightly?
