Anyone ordered from Guitarbuild?

I'm thinking about building a Mustang but they don't appear to provide necks. 

Where is a good place to source both body and neck from?

If you don't mind their anal rapage shipping fees, plus the inevitable Govt pound of flesh import and the Post Office's helpful fees on top of that...

For necks, look for Jag necks on eBay... ;-)

I used a neck from a Squier Bullet Mustang for my Swamp Ash body
1k wet n dry removed the headstock decal and a I painted it to match the body colour, it would be just as easy to apply a new custom decal and lacquer the front of the headstock to seal it, or just leave it blank as removal of the original decal leaves enough lacquer behind...perfectly good necks, that might need a bit of fret levelling and polishing about £60 on the bay....

I think Guitarbuild do have Mustang neck options. I was looking just the other day. 

As @paulnb57 says though a cheap option would be to get a bullet neck. They're pretty good tbh.

Can't see any specific MS necks, they do JM and Jag.

Yip, probably gonna end up spending a 5 figure sum with them this year.

Their mustang option is the 24” option in the neck builder. Superb quality necks, absolutely love them

Why not purchase a complete Squier VM Mustang in "project" condition?

Because almost everyone says everything on a Mustang needs replacing, so I thought why not just build one!

One red is correct, one sunburst and a pastel is I think the actual wording of the law. Plus a natural obvs.
