Plug a dynamic vocal mic into an input designed for a guitar signal?

Am I right in thinking that this doohickey : https://www.amazon.co.uk/Hosa-MIT-435-XLR3F-Impedance-Transformer/dp/B000068O68 would do the necessary connector adapting and impedance matching required to use the spare 'instrument' (hi-z) input on my Apogee One with a dynamic vocal mic?
