Probably XO - but there are great songs on all of the albums.  Listening to them now at work, prompted by your post

right on ill take that thank you @matdotcodot - the majority of our stuff is full electric 4 piece band set up which you might enjoy if you fancy digging past this one! 
I love XO too @djspecialist but I think for me its a toss up between Either/Or or Figure 8 - Either/Or is such classic Elliott, but Figure 8 for me is really just genius production and the electric guitar playing blows my mind! Happy weekend guys

Figure 8 is always the album I go to when I want to remember my teenage years. Brings back so many memories! Absolutely incredible piece of work that album!

Yes @hyperben so glad you jumped in and revived this! I love Figure 8 more than anything and love any footage of the band from that era. I love the Fuji Rock set too if you haven't seen it. Very happy to be selling a guitar to a kindred spirit!

Great cover! I love Elliot Smith, probably my favourite singer / songwriter ever. I like XO and Either/Or best, but I also really like Mic City Sons by Heatmiser a lot too.

Named my son after him. All his albums are very dear to me, but XO just about wins out as all-time fave.
